This 20 inch/ 50 cm Virgin Mary - Our Lady of Grace is made with marble powder, resin and painted with waxed gray shadows with additional gold decoration.
Color of statue can variate in tones because of two reasons:
1. Statue is hand painted and each one is slightly different ( slightly different from one I exposed on photos ).
2. Photos are taken outside so color grading can seem different than when you look at it in indoor light conditions with lower light.
Since this statue is made with marble powder material that is water resistant it is possible to place it outdoors or to use it as home altar statue.
Marble powder is composite material made with calcium carbonate which is very suitable for modeling sculptures as in this case is statue of Our Lady.
Even that is made with marble powder this statue is not heavy as you might expect ( it is not block of marble ) because inside is empty and it still makes it resistant for outdoor use and water resistant as well.
If someone wants to place it outside it is important to glue statue with silicone to surface where wanted to be placed.
Total weight of statue is 3 - 3.5 kg.
